This policy explains what information ProofOkay collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ProofOkay is operated by PrinterFlo ("PrinterFlo", "we", "us" or "our").
This policy applies to proofokay.com, the ProofOkay application at app.proofokay.com, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your name, email address, shop name and login credentials.
- Proofs and customer data you enter: the files you upload, proof titles and sizes, messages, and the names and email addresses of your own customers that you add to send them proofs.
- Communications: messages you send us for support or feedback.
Information from your customers
When your customer opens a proof link, we record that it was viewed, and their answer: the decision, the boxes they ticked, the name they typed, the time and any message they write. We keep it with the proof for your shop.
Payment information
Your subscription is billed through Stripe, which handles your card details under its own PCI-compliant systems. We don't store full card numbers. We receive limited data such as your subscription's status, plan and billing dates.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies: used to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
How we use information
- Provide, operate and improve the Service, including making zoomable previews and print checks of your files.
- Send the emails you ask the Service to send, such as proofs and reminders to your customers.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
- Send service-related messages.
- Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers (subprocessors) that help us run the Service under confidentiality obligations: Supabase (database, file storage and authentication), Netlify (website and application hosting), Fly.io (making the zoomable previews and print checks of the files you upload), Resend (sending email on your behalf, which receives the recipient's address and the message) and Stripe (subscription billing). Each processes data only to provide its service to us, and none is permitted to use it for its own purposes, for advertising, or to train models.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PrinterFlo, our users or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion as described below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, such as encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide additional notice where appropriate.
